The 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000 was a race for the ages, and the build-up to the Great Race was just as thrilling, with the annual Top 10 Shootout once again delivering a spectacular show for motorsport fans.

For James Courtney, the 2025 edition of The Great Race carried extra significance, marking his final Bathurst 1000 as a full-time Supercars driver following his retirement announcement earlier in the season.

Teaming up once again with Jack Perkins, the #7 Snowy River Caravans Mustang showed solid pace in the challenging, ever-changing conditions. After starting from 22nd on the grid, the pair impressively charged through the field to sit as high as seventh in the later stages of the race. Unfortunately, a fairytale finish wasn’t to be for JC, with a gearbox issue bringing their day to an early end.

Regardless of the result, the #7 Courtney/Perkins Mustang looked superb on track and holds special significance for collectors — celebrating James Courtney’s final full-time Bathurst 1000 appearance. A fitting tribute to the 2010 Supercars Champion and four-time Bathurst podium finisher.

This 1:43 scale model is scheduled to be produced in high quality sealed body die-cast with clear windows, detailed racing cockpit and undercarriage details unique to the Gen3 floorpan.

Comprised of roughly 65 individual metal and plastic parts plus anywhere between 50-100 steps in paint and decoration finishing, this is a high quality collectors model for fans of this scale.

It will come in an exclusive one-off limited edition, presented in a display case with the model attached to a white base plate which features the car details printed on it. An individually numbered backing board featuring the edition number is also included as part of the package and acts as the Certificate of Authenticity for the release.
